Physical Education Department
The Sports Department is the vibrant core of student life at CCJ, infusing energy,
discipline, and teamwork into the school's daily rhythm. Throughout the academic year, the
department organizes a wide array of sporting events and activities that are fully
integrated into the curriculum and designed to promote physical well-being, character
development, and school spirit.
Led by a team of dedicated professionals, CCJ's Physical Education Department offers a comprehensive
program that includes:
- Regular sports classes and training sessions across all grade levels
- Seasonal sporting events, ceremonies, and interscholastic championships
- Participation in diverse disciplines such as swimming, basketball, football, gymnastics, and
more
- Extracurricular activities in collaboration with Central Club, extending student engagement
beyond the classroom
- Parades and carnivals as part of CCJ's annual macro-projects, including notable events such as
the 2014 International Carnival and the 2010 "Let's Walk for Biodiversity" in Jounieh, as well
as the annual Christmas parade and other festive celebrations
Mission of the P.E. Department
Our mission is to nurture students who are not only physically active but also socially and
emotionally resilient. We aim to:

Central Academy Summer Program
Each summer, Central Club hosts a dynamic nine-week training program filled with sports, movement,
and exploration. Running Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., the program welcomes
students on campus from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., all under the attentive supervision of the academy
team.
The workshops blend fun and learning, offering students a rich mix of indoor and outdoor activities.
Every Wednesday, participants enjoy a special excursion or field trip, adding adventure to their
summer experience.
Activities are tailored by age group:
Ages 5–15:
Students can choose from a wide variety of sports and arts, including:
- Basketball & Mini Basketball
- Football & Mini Football
- Dance (Hip Hop, Oriental, Jazz, Classical Ballet)
- Wushu Kung Fu, Gymnastics, Aikido, Taekwondo, Judo
- Table Tennis, Swimming, Badminton
- Group Games and Team Challenges
Ages 3–4:
Our youngest participants enjoy a specially designed program featuring:
- Mini Basketball & Mini Soccer
- Trampoline & Ball Games
- Group Games & Drawing
- Dance, Music, and Educational Videos
- Swimming and Water Play

Kadmous Scout Group
Founded in 1969 at Central College under the banner of the Lebanese Scout Association (LSA), the
Kadmous Scout Group is a vibrant and active community of 160 members, organized into six distinct
units and led by a dedicated team of 11 scout leaders.
Unit Structure:
- Cubs and Brownies (ages 8–11)
- Scouts and Guides (ages 12–16)
- Rovers and Caravelles (ages 16 and above)
Throughout the year, the group hosts three major camps:
- A three-day Christmas Camp
- A three-day Easter Camp
- A 15-day Summer Camp
In addition to these cornerstone events, the group organizes a variety of cultural, environmental,
and social activities both within Lebanon and abroad.

The Kadmous Scout Group is committed to:
- Uniting CCJ students through enriching activities that support their physical, social, and moral
development in addition to their overall wellness
- Preparing youth to become loyal, engaged citizens who care deeply about their country,
community, and environment

Kadmous Scout Group
Kadmous Scout Group was established at Central College in 1969 under the banner of the Lebanese Scout

group consists of 11 scout leaders.

Kadmous Scout Group holds three annual camps: A three-day Christmas Camp, a three-day Easter Camp,

events and activities are organized in Lebanon and beyond.

- bring CCJ students together in activities and gatherings that foster their physical, social, and
moral development;
- prepare them to become loyal citizens who care about their country, its people and environment;
- boost their agility and movement in order to create an active and healthy generation;
- foster the spirit of scouting, unity, and collaboration to help the young generation play an
active and efficient role in their society.
The group gathers at Central College every Saturday from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Group Executive
Committee meets every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
